Use Coupons To Get More For Your Buck
If you're someone who already uses coupons to seek out additional ways to save money while you're shopping that's awesome. The uncertain economy makes it necessary to seek out ways to help you get more bang for your buck. I believe you will find it interesting to read how people go about saving money using coupons and store cards. If you're someone who has never used coupons but would like to read to learn how someone like myself saves at least $100.00 per month on groceries, paper goods, cleaning products and beauty/personal products, I'm more than happy to share my methods of saving money. You're at the right place to learn how to get more for your money. Using store cards and clipping coupons regularly does help you get more product while spending less.
When I decided to clip coupons and print coupons the first thing I did was purchase a coupon holder. It doesn't necessarily need to be an actual coupon holder. I purchased a small plastic folder holder from Stamples that cost me about $5.00. The holder has fifteen slots in it and it works for me. Anyway, once you have your coupon holder-folder, spare ten minutes to label each section. Being organized will save you a lot of time when shopping. For example, my first slot is for medicine, bandages and stuff like that. My second slot is for personal products such as, shampoo, deodorants and makeup. My third spot is labeled paper goods and plastic. Keep yourself organized so when you are shopping you have your coupons at your fingertips when needed. Make it easy for yourself to find what your looking for fast.
Each week I buy the Sunday newspaper and 90% of the time the Sunday newspaper has manufacturer coupons in it. I don't cut out coupons every week but I do sit down to clip coupons 45-minutes each month. So when it comes time to shop, I have my coupons at my fingertips. Once a month I shop to stock up and I always save money. It's worth staying organized and clipping coupons once a month to help get more products for your money or to simply save dollars when buying what you need.
I spend about seven hours a week online and throughout browsing, surfing and emails, I print out coupons I find on the web. I belong to many coupon websites and when I see a coupon I know I will use, I'll spare the sixty seconds to print it out then place it into my coupon holder-folder.
There is one website in particular that I sign into regularly to print out coupons because when I print out a coupon from the website then use the coupon to save money, I also accrue credits within my account. The website is called MyPoints.com. They have a great coupon section and using the coupons within my MyPoints account gives me an incentive to print out their coupons. The more coupons I print out through my MyPoints account and use, MyPoints gives me credits. I then use those credits to request a store gift card. MyPoints does offer many choices of gift cards but I like to choose store cards or gas cards. When I use the store gift cards or gas cards it's just like using cash. Double bang for your buck when you create an account at MyPoints, print coupons and use the coupons.

(2) After signing to the MyPoints.com website, I go to the coupon section and choose my coupons I want to print out.
(3) I then use those coupons at the Grocery store and earn points at MyPoints.com.
(4) When I have reached the minimum to redeem the points I have accumulated, I redeem the points to receive gas cards, Walgreens or CVS gift cards. There are many more merchants to choose from but those are my favorites and I shop at those stores regularly.
Clipping coupons from the newspaper, printing coupons from the internet and earning credits to redeem MyPoints.com gift cards might sound like so much work and effort however; once you get organized and put to practice what I have described above, over time you will become very fast at it and it becomes second nature.
REMEMBER: When you get on line to pay for your food and products make sure you give your coupons AND YOUR STORE CARD to the register person. USING THE STORE CARD SAVES YOU ADDITIONAL MONEY. STORE CARDS ARE USED FOR THE STORE SALES.
Additional Tip:
In addition to the above, keep in mind you can save even more money when you stock up on food and products when you purchase them on sale. Spare the two minutes per week to view the Store Flyers and when you see an item on sale that you eat or use regularly, stock up. Buy a couple extra of the items you regularly use so you always have them on hand. Remember when a product is on sale and you use a coupon in addition to the sale you save even more money. I have saved so much money following this method and it works.
Manufacturer coupons, store sales AND online coupons save you a lot of money.
