Mix It Up
Keywords - Tags - Labels
If we want our hubs, blogs, posts, stories, articles, editorials, snoops and free websites listed at search engines we all need to understand the importance of keywords/tags/labels.
A quick overview:
- Hubpages use the terminology Tags
- Websites use the terminology Keywords
- Blogger.com use the terminology Labels
I'm going to explain to you how I Mix Keywords to help me get my web addresses which are also known as URLs indexed by search engines.
My goal online is to write interesting and informative hubs, blogs, posts, stories, articles, editorials, snoops and create free websites to earn revenue online. Whenever I create a new piece of work I choose the best fitting Tags, Keywords and Labels which fit the topic/subject of my content. Search engines won't consider indexing you if you don't use the best fitting Tags, Keywords or Labels and rightfully so.
View the examples below to understand why I do what I do but first let me describe to you my method to writing.
- First I write a Hub at Hubpages about a specific topic/subject which then creates a new web address/URL.
- Then I write a Scoop at SheToldMe about the same topic but I write/create new and original content which then creates a new web address/URL.
- Then I write a story at addblogurl about the same topic but I write/create new and original content which then creates a new web address/URL.
- Then I write a Post at Snipsly about the same topic but I write/create new and original content which then creates a new web address/URL.
- Then I write a Blog at Blogger about the same topic but I write/create new and original content which then creates a new web address/URL
- Then I go to Redgage to download a link to each of the web addresses/URLs I created at each and every website above to link back to all of my work.
One more suggestion. Please don't create more than a handful of articles on the same topic/subject. Creating a few articles on the same topic/subject with new original content is OK but more than that the search engines do not appreciate it. That would be considered SPAM and the search engines don't like that. Every time I create a handful of articles about the same topic/subject I give each of them their own uniqueness with a tidbit of different information.
I use Hubpages as a Hub. Whenever I want to write about a new topic/subject I start at Hubpages. It works for me.
How I Mix Up Tags, Keywords and Labels. Compare the Tags, Keywords and Labels below.
My Hub about Earn-Adsense-Revenue-Free-With-Snipsly the Tags I use are:
adsense, earn money, adsense ads, google ad, ad sense, adsence, increase adsense revenue, adsense earn, adsense revenues, google adsense, adsens, snipsly and google revenue .
Like I say above after writing at Hubpages I go to SheToldMe to write a Scoop about the same topic but I write/create new content which creates a new web address/URL.
Snipsly-A-Free-Way-To-Earn-Adsense-Revenue the Tags I use here are:
adsense success, earn money on the internet, how to make money on the Internet, make money with google adsense and making money adsense.
I write many hubs, blogs, posts, stories, articles, editorials and snoops about the same topic/subject and always write/create new content BUT I choose different Tags, Keywords and Labels to help me get indexed on a wider scope at search engines. People who do a search at a search engine don't always use or type in the same Tags, Keywords, Labels or phrases.
Lets say someone is doing a search to learn how to earn money online. Some people may type in the search field home bases business while some might type earn money online .
I hope my explanation to using different Tags, Keywords, Labels and phrases help you understand how you can reach a wider scope of people .
One more suggestion. Don't overload your Tags, Keywords, Labels or Phrases. Search engines don't appreciate it.
A Helpful Tip
Using the Google Adword Tool External is a free way to choose keywords which fit your topic/subject/content.
The Keyword Tool External can be used in two different ways. You can either submit keywords into the field to compare the highest paying keywords and the most searched for keywords OR you can check the box Website Content then click on Get Keyword Ideas . When using the Get Keyword Ideas the Keyword Tool External analyses your website. Having your website/hub/blog analyzed by the Keyword Tool External suggest the best keywords for you to use.

Excellent hub! Very informative and easy to follow. One question for you. When you say you create a handful of articles about the same topic, do you use the same title or do you change the title with each article? Thanks.
